MUSHROOM CULTIVATION (LESSON NOTE)

Mushrooms grow very fast and mature for harvest in a matter of days, it is the easiest cultivatable item to cultivate for business, there are hundreds of  mushroom species you can start cultivating, you can make so much money cultivating mushroom, it is sell able both in the local and international market.

ITEM YOU NEED TO START CULTIVATING

4. Get a site with  a stable temperature.

1. Buy the mushroom spawn of your choice variety, choose the variety that you can eat, if you want to produce for the market do some search to know the most market choice, but recommend the Agaricus bisporus because it is the most popular, it is also very delicious specie, do not go for delicate species. your can always buy your mushroom spawn from Amazon, click to buy from Amazon.

2. CHOOSE A COOLER OR A TERRARIUM WITH COVER

• If you've got a dark basement which to grow your mushrooms, you don't necessarily need a growing chamber with a lid. Use or build some 6-8 inch deep trays to grow your mushrooms in.
• Use an old fish  tank or a plastic storage bin for growing mushrooms in drier climates, or if you don't have a basement in which to grow your mushrooms and need to regulate the temperature more readily.

3.  FILL  YOUR CONTAINER WITH MEDIUM THAT IS SUITABLE FOR MUSHROOM GROWING

You can buy your own premixed beds to grow mushrooms, or make your own beds. Materials as diverse as mature, vermiculite and wood flour are used for growing all kinds of edible mushrooms

Use a suitable medium to enable proper growth of the mushrooms, remember that mushrooms do not have chlorophyll like plants as a result cannot make the own food like plant, but will depend on the quality of the medium you have made to grow. A mature based compost is most appropriate for the recommended mushroom variety, you can get your compost from peat moss, greensand, corn fodder, straw etc., please ensure a proper PH value of the compost used.

To prepare a quality medium the initially recommended spawn, mix 80% hard wood flour, 10%% rice hulls, 5%  soyabeans meal, 5% sphagnum, add little lime to obtain a suitable PH level of about 7.1 to 7.3, the combine the 5 parts of this mixture with 2 parts sand and 3 parts potting soil and mix very well

4.  PLANTING THE MUSHROOM SPAWN

Plant the mushroom spawn about two inches deep in the medium you have prepared and give over 20 inches spacing from the planted spawn.

5. KEEPING THE CULTIVATING CHAMBER AT A PROPER TEMPERATURE.

After planting, place the containers in a heated room or in the sun to 21 degrees Celsius, when the roots begin to form that is about three weeks after planting, the remove the container and place them in a dark room or the basement so that the temperature is reduced to about 16 degrees Celsius and cover the spawn with   1 inch layer of potting soil.

6. SPRAY THE SOIL SURFACE WITH WATER TOP KEEP IT SLIGHTLY DAMP.

Spraying the surface of the soil regularly to keep it slightly damp, if you are keeping the containers in a heated indoor space, then spraying daily is necessary, you can also use a wet cloth to keep the soil damp.

7. MAINTAIN CLOTH AND SOIL DAMPNESS AND TEMPERATURE FOR 3 TO 4 WEEKS.

During this time, keep an eye out for any problem, You may start all over if you notice pin-prick dots of black fungus, or if you r substrates (medium) is over saturated and slimy, the .cloth must be removed once the mushroom begin ti poke out of the soil

8. HARVEST THE MUSHROOM.

The mushroom is now ready to be harvested either for consumption or for the market as soon as the cap is out of the soil. careful when harvesting the mushroom to avoid crushing the mushroom, you can use knife to harvest your mushroom near the bottom.

This is how you mushroom should look like when it is mature for harvesting.

You must note that not all mushroom are edible, most species of mushroom are poison and cultivated to extract these poisonous chemicals for different purposes, some species are cultivated to extract useful elements and chemical for drug  for drug making . Good luck to on mushroom cultivation.

What is Easter: Easter is a special festival celebrated to mark the resurrection

Due to these this grace and love showed to Peter by the Lord, Easter has significantly become a period for deliverance, a period we should show love to one another and visit those in Prison possibly grant them pardon and let them go free if we are in the position or power to do so, we should also visit those who are in sick beds giving the gifts, it is a period of extravagant magnanimity- which is evident in the through the raising of Jesus from the grave, secondly; it was evident through the freeing of Peter from the prison, Easter is a period of prayer to God to help us through his extravagant love lavished on Christ- through raising him from the grave ignoring the strength and the seem insurmountable  power of the grave.

HOW EASTER WAS OBSERVED IN THE EARLIEST CHURCH.

Easter was observed as a vigil beginning from Saturday evening and ending on Sunday morning and included remembrance of Christ crucifixion as well as resurrection. Later around A.D 300, Easter observation was divided into two- the original observance dedication Good Friday to the crucifixion and Easter Sunday to the resurrection.

EASTER PERIOD.

Easter occurring in the first quarter (Q1) or at the end of Q1 shows that our troubles for the year could end as Q1 ends if we believe and work in obedience to our creator, the author of all things; good and bad, evil and peace.

It also means that we can end our arrogance against our God as the Q1 ends and begin a newness of life, which actually ushers in our life a period of surprise and amazement, it was after Easter the disciples of Christ who stand as witness of Christ resurrection to the world received the greatest surprise of their life when Jesus who supposedly dead visited them at the upper room, wooh!; Thomas who was absent when Jesus visited when told the story, said; I will not believe that story, except I see him myself and insert my finger in the hole marked by the crucifixion nail in his palm and side.

The news of his appearance to his disciples after dead and burial was shocking one especially to the disciple who was absent, but a surprise package for the first set of disciples who saw him.

As you make reconciliation with Christ in this Easter, you will receive your Easter surprise package in Jesus name, and your troubles and sorrows will be forced to end as this 2017 Easter ends in Jesus name.

See why you may be under a curse

SEE WHY SOMEONE MAY BECOME CURSED

A curse could be simply explained as a spell cast on someone, it could come from an enemy or from God, don’t worry I will show you what the bible say about it, curses functions in diverse ways:

There are curses that fight against someone’s progress, success and goodness.

There are curses that fight against people’s marriage, either difficulty to marry or married but subject   to lack of fruit of the womb or one problem to the other. In general curses hinder people from achieving their desired expectations despite their frantic and gallant efforts invested to archive.

Whenever you discover that your efforts usually end fruitless, then check your life or around your family if curse is involved.

Please; I am not saying that all people’s troubles are caused by a curse, what I am saying is that curses exist and it do impede on life.

Not all cases of people’s predicament are caused by a curse, but most cases; curse is involved. In this article I will enumerate acts that people involve in that attracts instant curse in their life.

See why you may be under a curse:

1.       Because you have made a graven or molten image, an abomination unto the Lord, a hand work of a craftsman and you put it in a secrete place for worship or to benefit you. Deut. 27:15

2.       Because you had sex with your sister, your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter.  Deut. 27: 22

3.       Because you had sex with your mother-in-law. Deut 27:25

4.       Because you had sex with your father’s wife. Deut 27:20

5.       Because you had sex with animal. Deut. 27:21

6.       Because you conspired to judge against a widow, the fatherless and stranger. Deut. 27:19

        7. Because you fought your neighbor secretly, he/she does do known that you are fighting him/her. Deut.27:24

       8. Because you made the blind to fall or walk out of the path. Deut. 27: 14, now this may mean taking advantage of the ignorance of someone to cheat the person

     9. Because you remove your neighbor’s land mark, ie you cheated your neighbor in the land boundary. Deut. 27:17

     10. Because you setteth light your father or you mother, ie you dishonored your father or your mother (you made them light before you) Deut. 27:16
Reuben was cursed for immoral  knowledge with his father's wife. he lost his dignity, excellency through this single act. see what it says. Gen.49:3-4
3. Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:
4. Unstable as water, thou shall not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst it: He went up to mu couch (bed).
This was the curse the father placed on him for this immoral act.

Covenant Curses

“If you will not listen to me … if you spurn my statutes, and if your soul abhors my rules, so that you will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant, then I will do this to you: I will visit you with panic, with wasting disease” (vv. 14–16a).

- Leviticus 26:14-39

Since God’s covenants with His people have conditions, there are consequences for keeping and for breaking the covenants. Because the Old Testament prophets lived during the old covenant era, the consequences they preached for breaking or keeping covenant are those laid out in the Mosaic law. As we saw yesterday, the blessings for covenant faithfulness included fruitfulness of womb and field, safety from one’s enemies, and much more (Lev. 26:1–13). These blessings anticipated what life will be like in the new heaven and earth (Isa. 65:17–25; Rev. 21:1–4), and the ancient Israelites enjoyed them when they trusted Yahweh. Authentic trust manifested itself in love for the Lord, a striving after obedience, repentance when God’s law was broken, and hope that the Creator would one day send the Messiah to keep covenant perfectly in their behalf.

Blessings were not the only consequences attached to the Mosaic covenant. Leviticus 26:14–39 lists curses for breaking covenant (see also Deut. 28:15–68), curses including disease, infertility, and defeat in war. Moreover, in this list of covenant curses, the curses grow in intensity the longer the people remain impenitent, faithless, and disobedient. We see that God would send certain curses on His unfaithful people to prompt the Israelites to listen to Him once more and then evaluate their response. If the Israelites would not heed Yahweh, a sevenfold punishment would follow. If, after that, the Israelites still would not listen to Him, another sevenfold punishment would follow. The curses would worsen as the people remained impenitent, culminating in the worst covenant curse of all—exile, the banishment from God’s special place of blessing.

Note how the covenant curses prove the long-suffering patience of the Lord. Scripture teaches that God is “slow to anger” (Ex. 34:6; Num. 14:18; Jonah 4:2), not in that He ever tolerates wickedness but in His willingness to stay His hand. The Lord does not typically pour out the fullness of His wrath all at once, but He sends trouble to warn His covenant people of their waywardness and call them to repent. While men and women draw breath, the Lord calls them to repent and turn to Him, promising to relent from disaster when the wicked forsake their ways (Joel 2:13). Still, He will not be patient forever, and those who presume upon His grace and never turn from their sin will likewise find themselves exiled from His blessings—for all eternity (Matt. 25:31–46).

 

PRAYER GUIDE FOR MERCY

God knows that we are all human beings who are prone to committing atrocities against our fellow human beings and against him being our creator, He knows all what our activities will be from the day of our birth to the day of our death, he knows everything. So don’t think that God is not aware that you will behave so badly against him, just that everybody needs to do his/her best to please God.

Base on this knowledge, you should not feel so bad to go to God in prayers when you have gone astray; so many individuals condemn themselves to the point that they believe that God cannot forgive them their sins, as a result they tag themselves a” sinners who cannot be forgiven” which also make them to continue in their sins, since they feel they cannot be forgiven.

 No sinner that cannot be forgiven, you only feel so and you were affected by your feelings.

Look at the life of King David, Most people who received serious punishment in the Bible did not commit greater sins than King David, but David was even considered by God as a man after His heart, why! Because David will not hesitate to fall on his face to ask God for mercy, he is a man who understands that humans are naturally tilted to committing sin, this was a proof when he said in Psalms 51:5 “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceived me. Now David was telling God that sin was inherent in him, as a result God should have mercy on him, even though sin is inherent in man, yet man must not live with sin.

Now pray this prayer for mercy.

Psalms 51:1-14

1.       Have mercy upon me, O God according to thy loving kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

2.       Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleans me from my sin. 

3.       For I knowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

4.       Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightiest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

5.       Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

6.       Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me know wisdom.

7.       Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

8.       Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

9.       Hide they face from my sins and blot out all mine iniquities.

10.   Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

11.   Cast me not away from thy presence, and take not thy Holy Spirit from me.

12.   Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

13.   Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners will be converted unto thee.

14.   Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

The best prayer we  should form the habit of praying is the prayer for mercy,  it puts away the anger of God from our life, it puts away the eyes of the Lord from our sins, it makes us to obtain mercy and favour from the sovereign Lord, it can make you to be lifted beyond your imagination or expectation.
David was so great, not because of any thing else, this is the secrete, as a king; he does not hesitate to prostrate before God, and he made countless prayers for mercy.


Praying  for mercy have helped me so much, without so i wouldn't have known what would have become of me by today. Every single human being live by the mercy of God, but when we make that prayer a habit we will show to God that he is supreme and that we take cognizance of our wrong doings, that does not mean that we should cultivate the habit of doing wrong against our Holy heavenly father, remember that there is always consequence for every sin except the Lord show you mercy.

There are set of people who will continue to commit sin in hope to ask for mercy, no; that is wrong.
we don't sin deliberately, it may even attract a serious punishment because it now has become tempting your God, and you know what the bible said about tempting your God.
